Home Again

Sorry for the lack of new posts lately. Several reasons for that. Things have been a bit slower on the house. And we went to Knoxville to see Joanna while she was on Spring Break. We had a good trip and enjoyed seeing Jo and Dave and of course, meeting Echo for the first time. We went with them to the first dog training class of the intermediate session. It was good to get away from the construction headaches for a while and relax. We ate some good food but didn't do much running around. The weather turned cold and wet and depressing. I did come back to MS with a project - I volunteered to make the curtains for the living room. Nothing fancy but I am excited about the fabric Jo and Dave chose and think it will make a distinctive addition to their decorating scheme. Now if I just don't cut it wrong...

Could you have left off that last sentence, do you think?

Grandma will help me. Between us both it will be fine. I haven't messed up a project for someone else yet...and I did a bit of sewing for friends before. Of course that was years ago... ;-)
