We are so pleased to introduce to you David Lee Bouldin, III, Dax for short. (There are so many Davids in our immediate family that Jo and Dave decided to pick a nickname to start out with since he would surely have one before he was here for very long!) He was born about 1:00 pm on Friday, 7 March 2008. He weighed 8 lbs. 15 oz. and was 20.75 inches long! A real chunk! Mom and Dax are both well and going home today. Praise God for His mercy to us.
Tom and I were up there last week because Julia got sick, then Jo, then Dave. We went to get the house cleaned, disinfected, and to care for them. Any excuse works to visit children and especially grandchildren! But we came home on Wednesday when everyone was on the mend. And we got some kind of bug once we were home. The symptoms weren't exactly the same so we aren't sure if it was that or something new. We are slowly mending, the slowness is probably due to fatigue as well as the bug. We plan to return to help out with Dax and Julia once we are well, probably Easter week. I am looking forward to getting my hands on him!
